How to Use This Site

1. On each page there are two or more questions. Each yes answer is followed by a GO TO hyperlink which indicates where to click to advance in the guide.

2. Read each question in the box. Follow the directions by the question most correctly answered yes, clicking to the page indicated.

3. By repeating this process and clicking to the pages indicated, the yes answer will direct you to the page that names the tree. Compare the leaf drawing with your leaf sample.

If you have some idea about the tree's name, you may also look it up in the index, which will take you to the page where the particular species is shown. Definition of certain arboriculture terms (shown in all caps) can be found in the glossary.
